    • Announcement of New Partnership with ESRI (China)

    • The China Data Institute (CDI) is pleased to announce its partnership with ESRI China Information Tech Ltd (http://www.esrichina.com.cn/), jointly with the Geo-Computation Center for Social Sciences (GCSS, http://www.lmars.whu.edu.cn/gcss/index.php?l=en) at Wuhan University. ESRI China will provide free tool and technical support for collaborative research and training with the China Data Lab, a cloud based platform for the integration of data and tools. CDI, GCSS and ESRI will collborate on the development of data case studies and related training programs for China data applications.

      ESRI China is the only China branch of ESRI (      https://www.esri.com), a global market leader in GIS, which provide GIS based system consulting, technical support, education and training for ArcGIS products.
      The GeoComputation Center for Social Sciences at Wuhan University was an joint effort by the State Key Laboratory of information engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing of Wuhan University, the Center for Spatial Data Science in the University of Chicago, and the China Data Institute. The center is designed to promote the scientific research on the theory and method of spatial data in scientific research, personnel training, international cooperation and social practice in the popularization and applications.
