The road information available for China is somewhat dubious in that there seems to be some areas that have better coverage than others. It will become apparent upon looking at the data that clearly in the South central portion of China that the roads coded as a type 3; tracks, trails, or footpaths, should be a 2; primary or secondary roads or highways.
